Scheumann Plaza Commemorative Bricks
You can memorialize your own name or your favorite Scout or Scout’s name by having an inscribed brick placed in the Scheumann Plaza in front of the McAllister Scouting Center at Cary Camp. Proceeds from the sale of bricks are allocated for the Building of Cary Camp for the 21st Century.
For each gift of $50.00, a 4” x 8” brick will be etched with the text of your choice. Your brick will then become a permanent part of the historical Plaza. Each brick can accommodate two (2) lines of text, 14 characters per line, including spacing and punctuation.
Although the plaza was completed with the McAllister Scouting Center expansion project, we are still accepting brick orders. New inscribed bricks are used to replace ordinary pavers as the bricks come, in batches, from the company that makes them for us. If you would like to order one or more bricks, please fill out this form, and send it, with your payment, to the Council Service Center.
