Hours of Operation
The Trading Post is open during the following times:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 3 – 6 PM
Saturday: 9 AM – Noon
By appointment outside regular hours
Hours may vary during special events or camp programs. Closed holidays and Purdue breaks.
The Cary Camp Trading Post is your convenient, on-site resource for Scout advancement items and essential supplies. Located in the northwest corner of the McAllister Scouting Center—with its own outside entrance—the Trading Post makes it easy to pick up what you need without leaving camp.
Whether you’re celebrating a rank advancement, replacing missing insignia, or picking up last-minute items for your unit, the Trading Post is here to help keep your program moving smoothly.
What You’ll Find at the Trading Post
We stock a focused selection of Scouting essentials to support units during campouts, events, and programs, including:
- Rank advancement patches and emblems
- Merit badge patches
- Unit numbers and insignia
- Council shoulder patches and position patches
- Basic Scouting supplies and essentials
If you’re planning a ceremony, court of honor, or advancement-heavy weekend, we’re happy to help you prepare.
Large Orders & Unit Accounts
For large advancement orders or purchases using a unit account through Kokomo, please contact us in advance. This allows us to ensure your items are in stock and ready when you arrive.
Advance notice is especially helpful for:
- Courts of honor
- Summer camp advancement pickups
- Bulk unit purchases
Location
The Trading Post is located inside the McAllister Scouting Center, in the northwest corner of the building. A dedicated outside entrance makes it easy to stop in quickly.
