Facilities - Shawnee Cabin
Shawnee Cabin will sleep 14 people in bunks in one large room. A separate room has two bunk beds for leaders, for a total capacity of 18 people. Shawnee Cabin is equipped with electricity and running water. The cabin is located in the wooded area northwest of McAllister Hall and the Trading Post/ First Aid building. It has its own access trail. The cabin overlooks the ravine that bisects Cary Camp.
Shawnee Cabin was built in 1952 and has more than 900 square feet of space. It is similar to the Sioux Cabin, but it has a full restroom facility, including a shower. Shawnee Cabin also has a windowsill air conditioner, a refrigerator, kitchen sink, and a microwave oven, and a gas furnace for heat in the winter. Shawnee cabin also has an outside fire ring, located behind the cabin.
