Facilities - Trading Post/Scout Shop
The Trading Post/Scout Shop is located in the northwest corner of the McAllister Scouting Center, with its own entrance. The Trading post is open several evenings a week and Saturday mornings. Please check the Cary Camp Facebook page for the most up-to-date hours. The Trading Post is closed on holidays, and is often open longer hours during Scouting events at Cary Camp. You are welcome to send questions or large orders to the Trading Post email in advance at tradingpost@carycamp.com and we will prep it ahead to save you time. Please be aware that our trading post is staffed by a student that has class during the day; emails will be answered promptly after class.
Starting August 19, 2024, the Trading Post hours are:
Monday - 3-6 PM
Tuesday - CLOSED
Wednesday - 3-6 PM
Thursday - CLOSED
Friday - 3-6 PM
Saturday - 9 AM - noon
Sunday - CLOSED

The trading post will be open by appointment only May 1 through May 25. Please email tradingpost@carycamp.com or call 765-237-9672 to make an appointment.
Starting May 26, 2025, the summer hours of operation are: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6-8 PM. Please call ahead and make an appointment to stop by. Cary Camp Phone: 765-237-9672. We have several groups that use our camp during the summer. Our Trading Post will still be open, but with limited hours so we can accommodate our big summer groups.

The Trading Post carries rank advancement emblems and insignia. If you need large advancement orders, or if you want to pay with unit credit on account at Kokomo, either or both of these can be done with prior notice.
