The Trading Post is closed on holidays, and is open longer hours (and sometimes on Sundays) during Scouting events at Cary Camp. ALSO, the trading post can come to you! Contact the Trading Post manager, Adam Wehrman, at email@example.com, or text to 567-644-1087, to arrange for a "mobile trading post". During the back-to-scouting season, it is also a good idea to call before coming out, to make sure that the trading post is not on the road when you want to come visit! In addition, if you send orders to Adam in advance, he can have them put together for you when you arrive.
The Trading Post carries rank advancement emblems and insignia. If you need large advancement orders, or if you want to pay with unit credit on account at Kokomo, either or both of these can be done with prior notice. Please send an email with the full details to the Sagamore Council Trading Post Manager, Debbie Thompson, at Deborah.Thomson@scouting.org, or call the Sagamore Council Trading Post at 765-452-8253 / 800-844-0537.
The North Central Health Services Health Lodge occupies the northern portion of the building. The camp Health Officer operates out of this facility during summer camp programs. The Health Lodge is air-conditioned, and has facilities for basic medical care. This is also where all medications are stored during camp sessions - if a camper needs medication, it is issued to them on a dose-by-does basis by the camp health officer.
